Amy W. B. Adams, LICSW

Amy works with individuals and couples including older adolescents through the geriatric population. Amy graduated with her Bachelor’s degree from University of California at Santa Barbara and her Master’s degree is from Southern Illinois University at Carbondale.  She has worked in various venues, including outpatient clinics, psychiatric hospitals, university counseling centers, geriatric settings, and private practice.  She primarily utilizes Cognitive Behavioral Therapy to treat a range of issues, including but not limited to depressive disorders, anxiety disorders, unresolved grief, adjustment problems, stress management, relationship concerns, divorce, LGBT issues, self-esteem issues and women’s issues.

 

Megan McGrath, LICSW

Megan is a Licensed Independent Clinical Social Worker who received her undergraduate and graduate degree from Boston College. Megan worked at Massachusetts General Hospital and McLean Hospital, before going into private practice. She treats individuals from age 8 through adult and older adulthood, having completed clinical internships in graduate school at a school for children with special needs and the geriatric training program at the Veterans Administration Medical Center. She provides individual, couples, family and group treatment. Patients are often coping with life transitions and psychosocial stressors associated with their age group and/or anxiety, depression, mood disorders, substance abuse, ADHD, PTSD, autism spectrum disorders, co-morbid medical conditions or mild cognitive impairment. Megan’s therapeutic approach is a combination of psychodynamic, relationship oriented, cognitive behavioral therapy, mindfulness and relaxation response techniques.

Dawn Moscow, LMHC

Dawn specializes in all forms of relationship therapy. She draws upon the work of the Gottmans when treating couples; focusing on emotional triggers and their effect on communication. She is a systems therapist viewing families as a unit composed of each moving part or it’s individuals. Emphasis is placed upon the ways members can collaborate effectively to keep the whole unit healthy and efficient. Dawn uses this approach when meeting with teens, preteens, and their parents. She has worked with traditional, blended, and alternative families. Special areas of interest also include trauma and attachment, social anxiety, personality development, and self-esteem issues. Over the past 35 years, Dawn has worked in medical and outpatient settings. She received her Bachelor of Arts degree in Psychology from Simmons College and Master of Arts in Clinical and Personality Psychology from Yeshiva University in New York City.

Kelly Williams, LMHC

Kelly received her Bachelor’s degree from Boston College and her Master’s degree from Boston University. She has spent her career working with children, adolescents, adults, and families in a variety of settings across the country, including outpatient clinics, residential treatment centers and non-profit community based organizations. She primarily uses cognitive-behavioral techniques in coordination with mindfulness and relaxation techniques to treat an array of issues, including but not limited to trauma, anxiety disorders, and depressive disorders. She feels privileged to hear life’s stories and to help individuals navigate and make sense of them.

Winthrop A. Burr, MD

Dr. Burr has been Board Certified in Adult Psychiatry since 1975. He is a member of the Massachusetts Psychiatric Society and the American Psychiatric Association, and is an Emeritus Psychiatrist at Harvard University Health Services.
